A.
What I liked about the class was that we learned how to type faster and we learned about different careers. I also really like how Mr. Haymore encourages us to choose the right and how he says that when we do good things will have good outcomes.I don't have any things i don't like about his class
B.
A way to improve this class is if we get a few extra minutes on our 100+ Goals Life planning notebook.
C.
I think I did do my best in this class at the starting of the year I had a few problems with the medical careers and the student success statements because i wasn't sure how to do it.
D.
I have been reading my student success statement every day when I get home and do my homework.
E.
I am committed to being a CTR student because when you do good things, good things will happen to you and when you do and things, bad things will happen to you. And i would like my life to be full with good things so I would be committed to choose the right.
F.
What i would do for my Body- Mind and Spirit is i wouldn't do anything to affect my Body- Mind and Spirit.
Final:Part 1
Showcase (Interdisciplinary Unit Experience)
What my interdisciplinary project my topic was whether schools should be able to ban junk food that is deemed unhealthy. The people that were in my group we're 6 including me. We had to do research on obesity changes over the years, obesity in the United States, and how junk food affects students learning. What I learned from the interdisciplinary project is that Huntington Park has the most obese kids in all the united states. I also learned that obesity also changes the rates of suicide because the kids that are obese and different from others get bullied and they use it as an excuse to commit suicide. I had also learned that over the past thirty years obesity has continued to increase. How I felt towards the project is I was nervous about the whole presenting in front of people but I thought the project was  easy if we all did our work on time and helped each other. When it came to presenting it was all easy i didn't feel nervous at all and it would be all much easier if we memorized it all.

"When I do good,
I feel good.
When I do bad,
I feel bad."

Abraham Lincoln
Reflection:
What I think about the quote by Abraham Lincoln is when you do bad for example, when you lie, steal or cheat you become really paranoid and you would become to feel really bad. It would start haunting you so when you do bad you will feel bad.
When you do good for example, when you admit to when you have done wrong you would become to feel good now that it's off your chest so when you do good, you do good.

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
Mr. Haymore
Reflection:

What I think this quote by Mr. Haymore means is you must take responsibility for your actions. You must take responsibility for your own mind, spirit, for the sake of your physical, mental and spiritual well- being. For example, when you do something wrong you have to take the responsibility to say yeah I did wrong and you find a way to fix what you did wrong. Also, when you cheat on a test you have to take responsibility so you can’t be paranoid and it’ll be good for your mental well-being.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do.”
Richard L. Evans
Reflection:

What I think about this quote by Richard L. Evans is we should always keep doing what we’re supposed to be doing and should stop doing the wrong things that we shouldn't do. Some things we need to continue doing is going to school, being obedient and etc. Also, we should always have the courage to say no to bad things you shouldn't do. If you know you’re doing something wrong then you should have the courage and be responsible and stop doing what’s bad for you.

The sting of the scorpion
In the video Patrick had been camping out in the dessert as a kid. His parents had told him to wear shoes so he didn't hurt his feet with a thorn or something. So that morning Patrick had decided to disobey his parents and wear flip flops. While he was walking a scorpion had stung his foot because he wasn't wearing any shoes. The moral of the story is obey your parents and don't choose the wrong or there would be bad consequences. The scorpion is a metaphor for bad consequences there will be for bad decisions.

Mark Twain
Reflection:

What I think about the quote ”Always do right” by Mark Twain is when you always do right you will always have good consequences in life. Also, you must do right all the time so it becomes a daily routine for yourself not just when it’s covenant for you. So when you always do right where you’re heading would be great.

When you Tell One Lie it leads to Another
When you tell one lie, it leads to another                    So you lie and lie without even trying
So you tell two lies to cover each other                        And each lie you tell will keep
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,                       Multiplying
Youre in trouble up to your ears!                                     You’re lying
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                             Then you’ll be
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect                       Suspected
You                                                                                                    Detected
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                                              Rejected
A life filled with worries and fears                                                Neglected
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies                                            Disliked
 You’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true                                                 And you should!
And sometimes you’ll trip up                                              When you lie, your closing the door
And then                                                                    On everything good
Whatever will become of you?

‘Till the whole wide world will know

"When you Tell One Lie it leads to Another"

Paul Hatch
 Always speak the truth
Reflection:
What i think about the quote is that once you tell a lie you would keep telling a lie to back up that lie and it would just keep going and going. Also, you shouldn't lie because that would create being paranoid and you'll start to stress. So, you should not be lying because then you'll just complicate your life.

“If the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Acts Of Kindness

When Ethan gave the ball to the kid who was bummed out about not catching it. I think that it was a nice thing for him to do. When he gave it back after he got more than he would've if he didn't give the ball to the kid. Also, when the lady gave her food to the homeless man was a good thing because she made the man's day and it made her feel good.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day first originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919 the first anniversary at the end of World War 1. It became a holiday in 1938. In 1954 President Eisenhower changed the name from “Armistice Day” to Veterans Day. In 1971 they moved the holiday to the fourth Monday in October but in 1975 President Ford returned it to November 11 due to the important historical significance of the date. In Europe, Britain, and Commonwealth countries there’s a two minute silence at 11 am. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans living or dead but especially gives thanks living veterans who served our country honorable during war or peace time.

"Be cool in school---- live every rule."

Mr. Haymore
Reflection:
What I think this quote means is living every rule is being cool because in the long run anything that you thought was "cool" isn't going to be cool. When you follow the rules you'd be cool in the eyes of your teachers and your parents. Even though some people think its not cool to follow the rules it's the right thing to do because you don't want to be just like everyone else doing what is wrong. Even when people say that following rules by going to school everyday doesn't make you cool automatically. People don't always think  that just because you ditch, smoke, drink, etc.. your cool if that happens on a daily basis people would think you'll go no where in life. When you follow the rules it opens up many new possibilities like college and so many other good things.
