What I think this quote by Mr. Haymore means is you must take responsibility for your actions. You must take responsibility for your own mind, spirit, for the sake of your physical, mental and spiritual well- being. For example, when you do something wrong you have to take the responsibility to say yeah I did wrong and you find a way to fix what you did wrong. Also, when you cheat on a test you have to take responsibility so you can’t be paranoid and it’ll be good for your mental well-being.

Reflection:

What I think this quote means is living every rule is being cool because in the long run anything that you thought was "cool" isn't going to be cool.When you follow the rules you'd be cool in the eyes of your teachers and your parents. Even though some people think its not cool to follow the rules it's the right thing to do because you don't want to be just like everyone else doing what is wrong. Even when people say that following rules by going to school everyday doesn't make you cool automatically. People don't always think  that just because you ditch, smoke, drink, etc.. your cool if that happens on a daily basis people would think you'll go no where in life. When you follow the rules it opens up many new possibilities like college and so many other good things.
