Student Success Statement
"I won't cheat"
Dale Murphy
Reflection:
What I think this statement means is a promise to himself that he's not going to cheat. Meaning even though it'll be very convenient to cheat he wont don't it. He wouldn't do it because he knows it's not right. He also knows how to distinguish right from wrong. He knows cheating is a very dirty thing so he won't do it.

I don’t think I would like to be an oncologist. The reason is because telling a parent that there son or daughter has cancer. But I would also like to be one for the reason that you get to help out the people with cancer. But mostly I wouldn’t want to be one to deliver the news of a family member having cancer.

Mitch McKee
Mitch McKee's dad had been suffering from cancer. Mitch wanted to do anything to have his dad better. He decided to make his dad proud and win the state champion wrestling for his weight class. So he would practice a lot and hit the weights. He wanted to do it not for the trophies and the metals but for his father. He wanted to show him how much love he had towards him. The boy who went against him on the last round even paid respects to his dad. He wanted a distraction to the whole family off his fathers sickness.

“Great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all”
Benjamin Franklin
Reflection:

I think in order to have a right heart is to have a good heart. To have a good heart is to always do what’s right and what’s best. Also, to distinguish right from wrong and act on what’s right.
