Free Choice
Albert Fish
(May 19, 1870- January 16, 1936)
He was an American Sado-masochistic, serial killer and cannibal. He said he “He had children in every state.” Around 100 children but was never clear he was talking about molestation or cannibalism. He was suspected of 5 killings in his life time. He was put on trial for the kidnap and murder of Grace Budd, and was convicted and executed via electric chair.
The youth also introduced Fish to such practices as drinking urine and coprophagia. Many of his intended victims would mentally retarded or African- American, because, he believed, these would not be missed. He wrote an anonymous letter to Grace Budd’s family one of his victims seven years later explaining how he murdered her and ate her. He confessed to Billy Gaffney’s mother about killing her son and gave her all the details of his murder.

Write a post, a personal post, on any topic(s) of your choosing.

A topic that really interests me is the shootings that has been going on in the past few years. There has been more than 74 school shootings. 900 mass shootings in the past seven years. It really interests me because there has been many violence with one another. People should help each other not destroy each other. People who do school shootings have to deal with "bullying". Which doesn't make since at all weather someone have that much rage over each other to kill one another. They should promote more laws against violence and have more world peace. We have had more killings than will ever have as a natural death or a disease. We promote violence on what we see on television. It just doesn't make since to just wake up one morning and decide to kill 90 people all at once. Everyone should have the right to live as long as they want to just because someone decided that they couldn't talk out there feelings instead they kill others so that they could get a satisfactory out of it.

“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”
Brigham Young
Reflection:
What I think the quote by Brigham Young means is in order to have independence and freedom you have to do what’s right. Meaning for you to me free of a guilty conscience is to do what’s right. To actually be at peace and to live your life in freedom without guilt is to always do what’s right for others and yourself because when you don’t you won’t be at peace and it would affect you through your life so it won’t let you be free.

Cheating: Is the short term gain will be worth the long term pain?
Many think that the short term gain is worth the long term pain but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don’t do it.”
George Mitchell
Reflection:

What I think the quote means is when you use steroids its only good for a while. Like you can be good or the best in a while but in the long run it won’t be so great. It would be shame in your name. It won’t only cost you but also your teammates and family. It won’t be worth it because you won’t be able to say you did it all by yourself. Everything you earned would just go to the trash. You’re asked to give up your medals. So what’s the point in working hard and using drugs if what you earned is just being taken away from you? There isn’t a point to do drugs to get better in a sport it’s better to do it honestly or don’t do it at all.

Student Success Statement
"I won't cheat"
Dale Murphy
Reflection:
What I think this statement means is a promise to himself that he's not going to cheat. Meaning even though it'll be very convenient to cheat he wont don't it. He wouldn't do it because he knows it's not right. He also knows how to distinguish right from wrong. He knows cheating is a very dirty thing so he won't do it.
