Student Success Statement
“My basic principle is that you don’t
make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are
cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re
right.”
Theodore Hesburgh (Former president
of Notre Dame)
Reflection:
What I think the quote by Theodore
Hesburgh means is you only make chooses because they’re right. You don’t listen
to what others choose to do. You don’t take the short cut to the problem. You don’t
do things that are wrong just because people think it’s cool or fun. For
example, bullying someone everyone thinks it is fun but you’re not going to do
it because it’s not the right thing to do.
